MORBID ANGEL Frontman To Appear In VANESSA DEL RIO Film Project
March 18, 2013MORBID ANGEL frontman David Vincent will make his screen debut in in director Thomas Mignone's upcoming film inspired by the extraordinary life of Vanessa Del Rio — the legendary Latina adult film star in New York's infamous Times Square during the '70s and 80s.
Described by Michael Rooker, lead actor of "The Walking Dead", as "Boogie Nights" meets "Taxi Driver", the film is written and directed by Mignone, best known for his previous feature film "On The Doll" and also directing award-winning music videos.
SOULFLY's Max Cavalera has signed on to work on music for the film and Glenn Danzig has agreed to appear in the film as a violent thug.
To preserve the creative vision of the film project, it is currently featured on Indiegogo, the new buzzworthy crowd-funding platform.
Vincent has generously donated five of his signature-series "Demonator" electric bass guitars as items for the "Authentic Prop" contribution perk with 100% of the donations going towards funding. These guitars are custom designed by Dean Guitars for David Vincent and are exclusive collector's items. Each will be numbered and signed by both David Vincent and Vanessa del Rio.
